Trang Nguyen

Boiling Crab vs Crab Hut vs Crab Town!

We tried all three restaurant within 3 weeks! The winner of the 3 is Boiling Crab! Prices were the same but the seasoning at the Boiling Crab was the best and by far the most spicy! And the oysters were the best quality as well!

So here's my copycat recipe!

5 pounds of crawfish

Boil in a 8 quart pot (fill water 1/2 way): with 3 tablespoon or seafood boil mix and the leftover lemon wrind from the lemon you juiced.

I boil potatoes and corn first until cook. Then I take out and put on a tray. Then I add shrimp for 4 minutes. Then add king crab cook for 5 minutes since it's already cooked. Then lastly cook crawfish for 8 minutes since it's a small batch it will cook quickly. Remove everything and put on a big mixing bowl. Add your sauce and shake until it coats.

Sauce:
Melt butter and add garlic and sauté. Then add all dry ingredients. Add franks redhot and then turn off pan. Add lemon juice and stir. Sauce is read to be mixed with boiled veggies, sausage and seafood. It will be spicy and salty so make sure you don't put too much. Mix slowly and add more if you want more sauce.
